- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities in line with project objectives, workplans, and donor requirements.
- Ensure project deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and monitor project implementation schedules, procurement plans, and activity trackers.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure smooth implementation of shelter repair, construction, and related activities.
- Regularly monitor project sites and provide technical and operational guidance.
- Cluster Reporting and Representation
- Act as the focal point for Shelter/NFI Cluster reporting at national and regional levels.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting through the Cluster 5Ws, dashboards, and other required formats.
- Represent SDO in cluster coordination meetings, working groups, and donor-related technical sessions.
- Share lessons learned, best practices, and field updates with cluster partners and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Maintain regular communication with relevant local authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and community representatives.
- Ensure coordination with other implementing partners to avoid duplication and enhance complementarity.
- Prepare and submit timely project progress reports, case studies, and success stories to donors and SDO management.
- Compliance, and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with AHF, UN-OCHA, and SDO's internal policies and guidelines.
- Support external monitoring visits, donor missions, and evaluations.
- Maintain proper documentation of all project-related activities, correspondence, and reporting.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor in line with organizational needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 2- 4 years of relevant experience in project coordination/management with INGOs/NGOs, preferably in Shelter/NFI, WASH, or Emergency Response.
- Strong knowledge of humanitarian standards (Sphere, Core Humanitarian Standards, Shelter Cluster Guidelines).
- Good understanding of donor compliance, particularly AHF/OCHA requirements.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and representation skills.
- Strong report writing, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong cross-cultural and gender-sensitive approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and online reporting systems (Cluster/ActivityInfo/HRP tools/ 4Ws- 5Ws reports).
- Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto. Good command of English (spoken and written).
