- Provide individual and group counseling sessions for people with disabilities to support their mental health and personal growth.
- Conduct counseling sessions with family members of people with disabilities to strengthen family support, reduce social stigma, and enhance coping skills.
- Monitor and follow up on the psychosocial well-being of participants during vocational training and after reintegration into the workplace.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure confidentiality in all counseling-related activities.
- Support the implementation of project activities by monitoring the psychosocial aspects of vocational training classes and the progress of participants.
- Coordinate regularly with the Program Manager to ensure the effective implementation of project activities.
- Collaborate with government institutions and private sector organizations to facilitate job opportunities for vocational trainees.
- Prepare and submit timely reports on project activities, participants' progress, and psychosocial support provided.
- Prepare official reports for ministries and government agencies as required by the project.
- Ensure proper filing, archiving, and documentation of all project-related activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by Project Management in relation to project coordination and support.
- Abide by the organization's safeguarding, child protection, and code of conduct policies.
- Ensure confidentiality and respect for the dignity of all participants and their families.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a supportive relationship with beneficiaries, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably with persons with disabilities or in community-based projects.
- Strong skills in counseling, psychosocial support, and family guidance.
- Experience in project coordination, reporting, and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with government bodies, the private sector, and NGOs for employment and referral opportunities.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and report-writing skills.
- High commitment to the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
