- Develop and update MEAL Frameworks (including MEAL Matrices, ITTs, and Activity Plans) for projects in line with INTERSOS MEAL Manual and donor requirements.
- Ensure SMART indicators are integrated into project design and tracked throughout the project cycle.
- Support the development of data collection tools (Kobo, Google Forms) and databases in collaboration with the Information Management (IM) team.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection (baselines, endlines, PDMs, beneficiary satisfaction surveys) and ensure adherence to sampling techniques (probability/non-probability).
- Clean, analyze, and visualize data using INTERSOS-approved tools (Google Sheets, Looker).
- Produce monthly/quarterly reports with findings, recommendations, and lessons learned for adaptive management.
- Update Indicators Tracking Tables (ITTs) and dashboards to monitor progress against targets.
- Implement and manage the Complaint and Feedback Response Mechanism (CFRM) in line with the Country CFRM SOP.
- Ensure beneficiaries and staff are aware of CFRM channels (hotlines, suggestion boxes, etc.) through regular awareness sessions.
- Document and follow up on complaints (Categories 1-4) using the INTERSOS CFRM Platform.
- Support internal/external evaluations (including ToR development, data collection, and report drafting).
- Conduct After-Action Reviews (AARs) and lessons-learned exercises at project closure.
- Archive MEAL deliverables (reports, tools, datasets) in the Mission's Shared Drive for institutional learning.
- Train program staff on MEAL tools, data protection, and accountability principles.
- Coordinate with Program/Technical teams to ensure MEAL activities are integrated into project implementation.
- Represent INTERSOS in sectoral meetings (e.g., clusters, working groups).
- Ensure adherence to INTERSOS Data Protection SOPs (anonymization, secure storage, need-to-know access).
- Conduct spot checks and data quality audits to validate accuracy and reliability.
- Degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Information Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years in MEAL, preferably in humanitarian settings.
- Experience with RBM approaches, logframes, and OECD-DAC evaluation criteria.
- Proficiency in data tools: Kobo, Google Forms, Excel, Looker (Google Data Studio).
- Knowledge of sampling methods and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with CFRM systems and protection mainstreaming (DG ECHO questions).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to train staff and foster a culture of learning.
- Adherence to INTERSOS principles (Do No Harm, accountability).
- Fluency in English (mission language). Local language (Dari/Pashto) is desirable.
