- Develop standardized training modules for business skills, marketing, financial management related training
- Develop Training of Trainers (TOT) plan for Implementing partners of UN Women to roll out the trainings
- Develop tools to assess the training and produce training reports
- Provide technical support to Integrated Program and cross pillar trainings for women entrepreneurs
- Support coordination of field monitoring and take part in monitoring visits as feasible and required
- Support drafting of monitoring or field reports and ensure all reports are filed
- Support annual, quarterly reporting processes by keeping close track of reporting deadlines, supporting partner coordination for reporting
- Participate in program monitoring visits at the field level and helps to prepare reports
- Support Preparation of contract extension package for Programme partners under the guidance of experienced teammates.
- Get familiar with the UN Women’s corporate systems such as Quantum, Partner Grant Agreements Management System (PGAMS), Performance & Results Integrated System for Management (PRISM) etc. and their usage
- Learn Operations related polices, especially in procurement and travel, and support the team in events organization/management accordingly
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, research and studies related to overall countries economy and women’s related issues in business and employment
- Support identification of areas for research and studies related to WEE
- Supports policy analysis and research and identifies entry points for strengthening UN Women’s programming for Women’s economic empowerment
- Update the beneficiaries and partners profiles for the projects under WEE
- Maintain stakeholder profile and contact for consultations and meetings
- Support knowledge management through collection and drafting of success stories, human interest stories in close coordination with communication team
- Strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the concept of volunteerism by reading relevant UN Volunteer and external publications and take active part in UN Volunteer activities (for instance in events that mark International Volunteer Day).
- Be acquainted with and build on traditional and/or local forms of volunteerism in the host country.
- Provide annual and end of assignment self- reports on UN Volunteer actions, results, and opportunities.
- Contribute articles/writeups on field experiences and submit them for UN VOLUNTEER publications/websites, newsletters, press releases, etc.
- Assist with the UN Volunteer Buddy Programme for newly arrived UN Volunteers.
- Promote or advise local groups in the use of online volunteering or encourage relevant local individuals and organizations to use the UN Volunteer Online Volunteering service whenever technically possible.
- A minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience in development organizations
- Good knowledge of economic empowerment and livelihood support
- Good interpersonal, networking and communication skills.
- Experience supporting programme implementation and partner coordination, including exposure to administrative and contract related processes and use of corporate systems (e.g. PGAMS, PRISM) is an asset.
