- Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and examinations of patients with orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, and physical disabilities.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses, treatment plans, and management strategies based on clinical findings, laboratory results, and imaging studies.
- Provide patient-centered care, counseling, and education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Medical Treatment and Intervention:
- Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and interventions to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and promote healing in patients with orthopedic injuries or conditions.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, injections, and wound care as needed to address acute injuries, fractures, or soft tissue injuries.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams to coordinate multidisciplinary care and treatment plans for patients.
- Patient Rehabilitation and Follow-Up:
- Refer patients to physiotherapy services, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation programs as part of their comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor patients' progress, functional outcomes, and adherence to treatment regimens through regular follow-up visits and clinical assessments.
- Adjust treatment plans, medications, or interventions as needed based on patients' responses, complications, or changes in their medical condition.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and referrals for patients' medical care, surgical procedures, and follow-up appointments as necessary.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects to enhance patient care, clinical outcomes, and program effectiveness.
- Office Responsibility:
- Designing and implementing the work plan and obtaining approval from the project manager.
- Necessary coordination in the advancement of activities.
- Regular creation of filing system.
- Providing accurate daily, monthly and quarterly reports to direct supervisors.
- Run and update databases.
- Correct use of materials, tools and equipment related to the office.
- Regulating, maintaining and taking care of the property and goods of the department.
- Develop and streamline operational efficiencies.
- Contact delinquent accounts.
- Raising the level of knowledge and capacity building.
- Compliance with all ethical code, code of conduct, disciplines introduced by the organization.
- Obtaining complete knowledge about the organization and all the policies of the organization.
- Stay current with all regulations, requirements, and laws of government of Afghanistan
- Good behavior with clients and staff.
- Inform the direct commander in time of any kind of accidents that have happened.

- Medical degree (MD) Orthopedic Specialist from a recognized medical school; valid medical license and registration to practice in Afghanistan.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Medical Doctor, preferably in orthopedics, emergency medicine, or primary care settings.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing orthopedic conditions, acute injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Dari or Pashto; basic English language skills desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned provinces and work in challenging environments.
- Only Residents of Daikondi province will be prefered if qualified.
