- Lead and coordinate the overall implementation of WASH project activities in targeted districts.
- Ensure construction and renovation work complies with safety, quality, and gender-responsive design standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and logistics teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Supervise and monitor field activities, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Liaise with local authorities, communities, community management structures, and relevant stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain a responsive community feedback mechanism throughout the project.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and knowledge management.
- Carrying out of assessments and post-implementation monitoring.
- Train and supervise project staff, ensuring compliance with gender, GBV, and PSEA protocols.
- Conduct ToT for mobilizers to perform the awareness sessions on the community and institutional levels.
- Submit regular progress reports to OCHR senior management and relevant stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with OCHR's policies on child safeguarding, PSEA, and Do No Harm principles.
- University degree in civil engineering, preferably with specialization in Water and Sanitation or similar relevant qualification.
- Technical and practical competence in WASH including experience in rural water supply, sustainable sanitation solutions, hygiene promotion, emergency programs and related activities.
- Experience in managing multi-faceted WASH programs in developing country
- Proven experience in program development, monitoring and reporting
- Excellent written and oral English language skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous coordination/management experience
- Previous experience with WASH clusters, relevant UN agencies
- Structured, well organized and self-driven
- Excellent communication, cooperation and interpersonal skills
