Database Specialist

• Collaborate with the team to design and develop a scalable, secure, and efficient Web MIS using PHP
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code adhering to software development best practices.
• Implement and maintain data models, database schema, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services as needed to enhance the functionality of the MIS.
• Optimize database queries and performance to ensure high-speed data retrieval.
• Implement web sockets for real-time data communication and responsiveness.
• Optimize database for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility standards.
• Handle feedback at a time on current and delivered projects.
• Make daily, weekly, Monthly reports, and present their work accordingly.
• Work under pressure. Refactor of code. Web application deployment in dynamic environment.
• Participating in software testing process such unit testing, automated functional testing and integration testing.
• Make recommendations to automate and simplify business processes and building new application for increasing productivity and efficiency
• Review completed software development tasks to a certain compliance with international standards.
• Perform risk assessments and observe risk mitigation/ control strategies while developing software systems.
• Perform any other duties related to the role assigned by the management.
• Ensure smooth integration between the frontend and backend components by collaborating closely with the frontend development team
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues promptly to ensure smooth operation and user experience. · Collaborate with the team to design and develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern front-end development principles and best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, adopting the latest tools and techniques for continuous improvement.
• Document code thoroughly and provide clear technical documentation for future reference.
• Implement data storage solutions that align with scalability and performance requirements.
• Requirements gathering, design, and analysis according to ‌‌‌BU requirements.
• Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
• Develop a dynamic website for ‌‌‌BU that aligns with organizational objectives and requirements.
• Write, revise, and maintain software technical documentation operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards

• Demonstrated ability to resolve problems both independently and collaboratively
• Demonstrated ability to identify priorities and work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent language proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English
• 5 -7 years of relevant experience in this position.
• Familiar with updated technology.
