The teacher will enhance students' proficiency in using technology effectively, preparing them for academic success and future career opportunities. This role is vital for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can develop their digital skills confidently.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct computer classes according to the ASTA project curriculum at designated locations.
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for computer education.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality education that meets organizational standards.
- Distribute educational materials and resources to students in a timely manner.
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and exploration of technology.
- Maintain regular communication with the provincial coordinator and report any concerns or challenges.
- Monitor and maintain student attendance, homework, and practical assignments.
- Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and practical projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years as a computer teacher, preferably with adolescents.
- Strong knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, especially marginalized and disabled students.
