
Programme Associate (CRC Team Leader)

- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations in and around the CRC
- Support monitor and guide CRC staff, field assessment teams and focal points
- Assist the Regional Coordinator in engaging with local actors and community leaders to maintain close coordination throughout the project. Contribute to the communities' buy-in and ownership of the project
- Report information on needs raised at the CRC in order to contribute to the development of information materials and information-sharing activities
- Monitor and report on the accomplishment of the workplan, potential gaps and delays
- Draft the weekly reporting on activities, progress and recommendations to the Supervisor to deliver information, outreach campaigns and awareness-raising, and assessments on key humanitarian subjects relevant to the catchment area population.
- Roll out with the mobile team multi-sector need assessments, service provision monitoring and safety audits, among the community and CRC Catchment area level, according to CCCM WG standardised tools.
- Promote and facilitate accountability towards site population through setting up of information sharing and feedback mechanisms, i.e., information desk and complaints and feedback mechanism.
- Assist in monitoring an effective, transparent, representative, and inclusive site governance system, including coordination of site service provision and other defined activities. Ensure that the site population are aware of the assistance and services available in the site and how to access them.
- Timely reporting any gaps and/or duplication in service delivery at catchment area level through the regional operational and technical supervisors.
- Undertake duty travel to monitor the smooth implementation of all the tasks mentioned above.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
- Experience in implementing and coordinating humanitarian responses
- Experience in Camp Coordination and Camp Management (Advantage)
- Experience in managing mobile teams (desirable)
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities and local communities
- Strong ability to engage with community members, partners and other stakeholders in a respectful manner (essential)
- Familiarity with the local area and surroundings (desirable)
- Experience with participatory fieldwork, methodologies, and monitoring
- Computer literate (IT) knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and experience documenting and reporting project activities
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds
- Ability to work independently, with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in challenging settings, under pressure, while respecting tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability for leadership in the context of partnership building and consensual decision-making
- Knowledge of camp management-related technical guidelines, standards, and indicators
- In-depth knowledge of the broad range of migration-related subject areas dealt with by the Organization
- Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming
- Knowledge of financial rules and regulations
- For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
- Working knowledge of Dari or Pashto is Mandatory.
- Fluency in all national language(s) are highly advantages.
