- Responsible for overall health team management in the field, reporting, planning OPD sessions, and leading other team members (midwife, psychosocial counselor, community mobilizer, and vaccinator) as per their job descriptions.
- Make sure that all planned primary health care as per BPHS, reproductive health services, trauma care, and other project interventions are executed, and expected services are delivered to all target population within the catchment area.
- Maintain the required quality of care in terms of providing healthcare services to patients (consultation, diagnosis, treatment, referral), health education/conducting awareness raising sessions, and reporting.
- Make sure that all healthcare services are delivered according to current medical practices, national guidelines/treatment protocols, and organization policies/procedures (with main focus on privacy, internal control/accountability, humanitarian principles, etc.).
- Responsible for technical support and monitoring of HF team members' activities and making sure that healthcare services are delivered as per relevant guidelines, standards, and protocols.
- Responsible for making sure that project resources are properly utilized in the field, quality of service delivery and data entry is maintained by all team members, and close working coordination is maintained with local communities/stakeholders/elders.
- Responsible for regular updates and data entry of daily OPD/consultation in different HMIS/reporting tools/formats/registers according to MoPH/project needs and scope of work.
- Active participation in health facility-related community-based activities, awareness-raising sessions, meetings, and leading clinic colleagues' coordination with local health committees/CDCs and other forums.
- Organizes outreach activities to extend healthcare services to remote or underserved areas within the facility's catchment zone.
- Oversees community-based health activities and awareness campaigns on topics such as maternal and child health, family planning, and immunization.
- Serves as the main link between the health facility and the surrounding community include working with community health councils (shuras).
- Ensures proper patient flow and record-keeping. Manages patient complaints and feedback to improve the overall patient experience.
- Ensures the implementation of IPC guidelines, particularly waste management, cleaning, and sterilization, to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Identify and report immediately any problem at the community/SDP level that may interfere with achieving program objectives or require relevant management action.
- Participate in designing and implementing on-the-job training for the health team staff as per the project work plan and staff needs for knowledge and skills development within the scope of the clinic.

- Graduated from a well-known medical university and completed of MoPH exit exam successfully.
- Having 3 years of proven experience working as a medical doctor with national and international NGOs.
- Good knowledge of BPHS and MoPH policy of health services.
- Good knowledge and skills in communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership.
- Fluent in Pashto and Dari speaker and good knowledge of English.
- Having previous experience with the MHT project, with a focus on RMNCAH services.
- Priority will be given to local qualified candidates.
- Attended relevant trainings like IMCI, HMIS, and IP.
- Familiar with reporting in DHIS and KOBO tools.
